We are having fun with these videos made from still photos. This one is from our trip to New York City without the kids.

Here we go with Day 2, folks. And it was a big one. Just now, after looking through all the pictures from this day, we realized why we were so, so tired at the end of it.

We started the day with breakfast and coffee at a corner deli. (Very New York of us wouldn't you say?) Then, we walked over to Central Park.

We took out a second mortgage and pooled the proceeds, and paid for a carriage ride for four through the park.

We decided to take a trip to New York City, and not take our children. As much as I believe travel is an important experience for my children, I also think traveling without them on occasion is an important experience for all of us.
