This weeks deals are dedicated to the idea that sometimes you travel with your kids, and sometimes...you travel without your kids. Either way, enjoy your adventures!
Here we go with this week's enticing deals to help you plan those mid-winter trips. Whether you are dreaming of sandcastles, leaning toward some downtime on the slopes, or hoping for a photo op with a certain mouse, there is something here to get you thinking about your next family vacation.
The first thing that happened after landing in LA? We accidentally locked our two 4 year old sons in the rental van, strapped into their car seats, unable to unlock the doors. Luckily, we were still at the rental car agency, and they were able to get into the van, even though they did not have a spare set of keys! Fortunately for us, the trip just got better from there. It was the first big trip with these two boys, full of exciting firsts for them. Traveling with kids...challenging, unpredictable and worth the effort every time.
In March 2005, we took our 2 four year old boys to Los Angeles and Las
Vegas, along with my brother and his family. A trip to LA with little
kids is quite a bit different than the trip we took last week.
I know that many people think of Disneyland or Knotts Berry farm when LA and Kids are being discussed... and they aren't wrong. Those famous destinations are great places to take the kids when you're there. But there are other interesting places to see in LA that are good for the kids and the adults.
