Every time we go away, we debate this question. "Should we take the laptop? Is it worth lugging it through the airports, digging it out at security, just to post a couple of times from the road?" So, this time, we decided it was time to make a purchase. A week before we flew, we bought an iPad 2. I barely knew how it worked before we left, so the question remained, would I be able to post from it.

Is it weird that I can look at a total strangers vacation photos and love it?!? With the right pictures in a post, I can feel like I was there, and feel like planning to go, all at the same time. The key is getting the right pictures.

You are about to blog about your family vacation to Hawaii, but as you look through photos and sift through memories, this happens. "Oh, remember that beach. Was that the best beach, or was it this other one? The food here was amazing, but the service was awful. What about the hike up to the volcano? Oh, and I can't forget to include the hotel, and the helicopter tour, and the surfing. And the whale watching. And the..." And then you are so overwhelmed by the size of the task, you close your photo program, shut down your computer and forget the whole idea.

Traveling Canucks

I love finding information about my travel destination provided by locals. I want to know where parents who live there take there kids for fun on long weekends or school breaks. I want to do what the locals do.

I know beginning to blog can be daunting. But here at KinderJet, we are all waaaay more interested in where you've been than how you write. Right? And we all want the info you have to share about your travels with your kids, without taking up tons of your time. So, here are a few suggestions if you're not sure where to start.
